ChatChey is a live chat and AI customer support platform. When you sign up, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English so you actually understand what you're agreeing to.

When you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password safe. Don't share your login with others. If someone accesses your account without permission, please contact us immediately at support@chatchey.com. You must be at least 16 years old to use ChatChey.

ChatChey gives you a live chat widget you can install on your website. Your visitors can then chat with your support team or our AI agent. We store chat messages and contact information to help you provide support. We do not read your conversations for advertising purposes.

Every paid plan starts with a 30-day free trial — no credit card is charged during the trial. After the trial, your chosen plan will be billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge if you contact us. We use Stripe to process payments — we never store your card details on our servers.

The AI Agent feature uses OpenAI's technology to reply to your visitors on your behalf. To train the AI, you must give explicit consent for us to scan your website. We only scan publicly visible pages — we never access private/login-protected pages. You can withdraw consent and delete all AI training data at any time from your dashboard. The AI may occasionally make mistakes — you are responsible for reviewing AI responses and enabling human handoff when needed.

You CAN: Install ChatChey on as many websites as your plan allows. Use it for legitimate customer support for your business. Export your chat data at any time. You CANNOT: Use ChatChey to spam, harass, or deceive visitors. Resell or reskin ChatChey as your own product (unless on a White-Label plan with a separate agreement). Try to hack, overload, or reverse-engineer our systems. Use ChatChey to collect sensitive personal data without informing your visitors.

We collect your account information (name, email) and your chat data (conversations between you and your website visitors). We use this data only to provide the service. We don't sell your data to advertisers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of all your data by emailing privacy@chatchey.com.

We aim for 99.9% uptime. Occasionally we need to take the service down for maintenance — we'll give you at least 24 hours notice whenever possible. We are not responsible for losses caused by unexpected downtime, but we will always work to restore service as quickly as possible.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently deleted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — for example, using ChatChey for spam or illegal activity. We'll always try to warn you first. If we have to close your account urgently for legal reasons, we'll issue a prorated refund for any unused subscription period.

If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll email you at least 14 days before they take effect. Minor wording changes won't require notice. By continuing to use ChatChey after the effective date, you accept the new terms.
